Scribe & Sigil

An Amateur Press Association

About

Scribe and Sigil APA

The Scribe and Sigil Amateur Press Association is a publication group where participants can share ideas, stories, art, reviews,
or engage in any other type of conversation, generally focused on fiction in the pulp genres (sword & sorcery, space opera, cosmic horror, westerns, adventures, or any topic enthusiasts of those genres find of interest). These are shared via Zines.

What is a zine?

A zine is like a pamphlet or newsletter, in this case one or two pages in length, where someone can share stories, excerpts of a work in progress, reviews, artwork, comics, rants, or any other creation. Every month, these are collected and collated into a single document. This will be posted online for anyone to read and
download.

How to make a zine?

Write something. Maybe draw something. Put it in a word processor. Format it however you like. When you have one or two pages, save it as a PDF. That’s your zine. The contents are totally up to you.
Page format: Letter or A4

How to submit a zine?

Send your zine in PDF format to scribeandsigil@gmail.com.

The deadline for submission is typically the end of every month, with occasional extensions for holidays or other circumstances.

Can’t write a zine every month? No problem! Contribute whenever you can. We’re happy to see a new contribution, even if it’s only now and then.
