Welcome back, friends. Scribe & Sigil is an Amateur Press Association focused on the pulp genres (sword & sorcery, space opera, cosmic horror, westerns, adventures, or any topic enthusiasts of those genres find of interest).

While this is Issue #2 under our new name and governance structure, this APA has run since the summer of 2023 under its former name, TriAPA. Our zine contributors over the years have included letters and commentary, flash and microfiction, interviews, reviews, poems, even occasional art or indie comics. Issue #2 happens to contain virtually all of the above.

We publish around the 1st of each month. If you have a zine you’d like to include, learn more about our low-stakes process here. If you’d like to send in letters about the contents of our issues, feel free to send them to scribeandsigil@gmail.com Please specify in your letter if you’d like to have your message included in a Letters Column in the next issue. Scribe & Sigil APA Issue #2

New name, same greate zines!

Welcome to the inaugural issue of the Scribe & Sigil APA, an Amateur Press Association focused on the pulp genres (sword & sorcery, space opera, cosmic horror, westerns, adventures, or any topic enthusiasts of those genres find of interest). But while this is the first Scribe & Sigil, this APA has been going for over 2.5 years under its former name, the TriAPA.

In the APA’s issues you’ll find fiction, non-fiction, sometimes even original art. And, if you wish, you could contribute your own zine to a future issue, just like our first time contributor in this issue, Malcom North. You can read about our totally easy, low stakes process to contribute in About.

We publish around the 1st of each month. So check back regularly to see the new zines hot off the digital mimeograph. And we encourage you to send any letters or feedback on the issue or individual zines to scribeandsigil@gmail.com.
